Writing more or less at the same time as Haggai, Zechariah also called on the Jews to work on the temple. He used a different way of prophesying, describing how the temple would point to the coming of the Messiah.

| 1 - 6 | Zechariah has eight visions from God. These visions describe the restoration of Jerusalem and prosperity for the people. These visions also speak about the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. |
