Chapters

1The calling of Jonah, his flight, and his punishment. Jonah flees on a ship because God commands him to preach to the enemy people of Israel, but God sends a great storm at sea and Jonah is thrown overboard.
2Jonah in the belly of the great fish, his prayer, and his salvation. Inside the fish, Jonah repents and asks God for help.
3Jonah preaches in Nineveh and the Ninevites repent of their sins.
4When God forgives the people of Nineveh, Jonah becomes upset, but God teaches Jonah that He cares for all people.
