1.Solomon seeks the Lord's favor at Gibeon and offers a thousand burnt offerings at the bronze altar.

27.Jotham becomes king and does what is right in the eyes of the Lord, but the people continue to corrupt themselves.
28.Ahaz becomes king, does evil, is defeated in war, and dies. His son Hezekiah becomes king and leads Judah in worship of God.
29.Hezekiah's reign; he restores the worship of God, purifies the temple, reinstitutes Passover, and organizes the priests and Levites.
30.Hezekiah's illness and recovery, his pride, his wealth, and the attack of Sennacherib on Judah and Jerusalem.

34.King Josiah reforms Judah, restores the temple, and celebrates Passover. Despite Josiah's faithfulness, God still brings judgment.
35.Josiah restores the Passover celebration and fights against Egypt. He dies in battle and his son Jehoahaz becomes king.
36.Josiah reigns in Judah, does what is right in the eyes of the Lord, and repairs the temple. He dies in battle against Pharaoh Neco.
